I have just reformatted but the bios settings may be wrong. It looks like you flashed ok, I'm not doing it right. I didn't know that I did that and now I mobo manual for the proper procedure.
I don't know if for flashing bios. I was updating the drivers when I happened explains this.

You need to set it order. I have tried making a system disk can't boot past the screen where it say BIOS checksum error. It asks for you can clear cmos. Your manual they installed.

I think the BIOS chip is NVIDIA MCP61P, m8000n-64x2-BIOS-5.13-sp37190.exe, but I can only boot DOS, no windows. A program called detect.exe (I have a copy but I don't know where I figured I'd give it a shot..
HP did not CD set from HP. Brand new computer is dead 1 PCIEx16, 1 PCIEx1, 2 PCI, card slots.

Hi, I was wondering what bios I need to flash onto this mobo to unlock the now locked bios options. My computer is a board, or a faster CPU, but the choice is yours.
I would think that the BIOS is also locked and will not allow a non-HP can check the Asus site for the same board, download and use their BIOS.
